About us
The newmusicireland.com podcast was conceived to help Irish bands and artists with superb albums / singles, demos etc. find a medium to showcase their collective wares to the people of the world. A few caffeine induced meetings later and we decided to collect some great tracks and bring them to a whole new level of potential listenership.

The World Wide Web was to be the platform and streaming the absolute best of Irish to the planet became our mission. Broadcasting, or should I say 'Podcasting' weekly, the show has quickly established itself as 'the' place to find great new music and interviews with the top artists making waves on the Irish scene.
Presenter
The newmusicireland podcast is presented by
Eric Campbell.

Eric has one big thing in common with all the featured artists on the show. He is one of them. Being in the same boat as many Irish artists, great songs, great attitude but a limited amount of communicative channels through which to advertise their music, Eric's understanding of the need for the show is evident. His immense musical knowledge, plus a genuine enthusiasm for supporting Irish artists made him the perfect candidate to host the show. He is never short of something to say and is well known to all on the Irish scene.

Honing his radio credentials on the likes of 2FM's Dave Fanning show where he contributed and appeared regularly, Eric was also signed with his previous band Death Valley Waters to London label Force 10. Label shuffling and amalgamation with other record companies seen that the much anticipated debut album from the band sadly never materialised.

Touring briefly with ex Iron Maiden frontman Paul Di'anno as bassist / backing vocalist, Eric then decided to take the solo route where he set up his own record label, Dead Skelleton Records. With an album due out in the autumn, Eric will continue to be the voice of the podcast, in fact, wild horses wouldn't drag him away from hosting it.
